Pharmaceutical Society

The Pharmaceutical Society of Papua New Guinea (PSPNG) was founded as a professional association in September of 2004. It is registered with Papua New Guinea’s Investment Promotion Authority (IPA) and has over 400 members. Since its founding, PSPNG has been dedicated to serving its members by providing them with the information, networks, and professional development opportunities they require to succeed.

PSPNG has spent over a decade empowering pharmacists and promoting the pharmacy profession in Papua New Guinea. The Society serves as a focal point of support for pharmacists at all stages of their careers, from students and interns to fully licensed professionals. Pharmacists from various backgrounds can find their niche, enabling them to develop professionally. PSPNG ensures that the pharmacy profession remains a meaningful and impactful career path by advocating for growth, development, and community participation.

Pharmaceutical Society PNG remains a significant resource for pharmacists, providing chances for professional growth, networking, and career progression. As the leading body in the country, PSPNG aims to strengthen the pharmacy profession and guarantee that its members are prepared to face the challenges of a dynamic healthcare environment.

PSPNG registered members included locals and foreigners representing the government/regulator, industry, social and academic sectors. This has grown over the years and now we estimated over 500 plus pharmacists.
